A giant thanks to Clint and Eli

I wanted to thank Clint and Eli for their help this weekend.
About three hours into my drive to Danger zone, Ol' Blue lost power and would not get past 45mph, pretty scary to say the least.
I pulled over on the side of the freeway to try to diagnose what was wrong with my heap.
Everything looked and tested fine.
So, I limped it a few more exits to Eli's shop, where Eli, Clint and our buddy James tried to figure out what was wrong with it.
After I finally convinced everybody who was waiting to leave to the show to actually go, I limped my pile to Clint's place via backroads doing 30 mph. A little more trouble shooting by James and Clint and it was determined that the catalitic converter was blocked up. A pretty easy fix the next morning.
It blows that I was not able to make the show but, it rocks that my fellow club members and good friends were able to help me out

Cali crew at it's finest. It's not the first time C and E have been there to lend a hand and I doubt it's the last!

I hear that bro, Andrew, Nate and Matt are constantly saving my ass. I feel blessed to have such supportive clubmates and friends!

Just lending a helping hand all I need sometimes is a thank you,and maybe a hand job from Doug lol.

let me guess he drilled a hole before the cat and had u drive it cuz you didnt believe him. that guy is right so much he is due to be wrong,haha.......soon

You're correct in my technique. That was the best way to test my theory on the cat being bad, so I went for it and drilled a hole just forward of the cat. Drove it around and it ran good so then I knew it was the cat that was backing the exhaust pressure up and causing it to run poorly. If I was wrong then I'd just welded the hole up and move on down the line of problem solving.
What do you know, I came out with the proper theory and solution that ended up being correct. "Handled it" as Dangler would say.

Okay so who has some micro fibers so I can continue to polish my own star ....... ahahaha
