Is anyone near LA, CA ? I bught a set of wheels from a guy in Downey, CA. its like 12 miles south east of LA. The guy seemed to be on the up and up but I haven't heard from him now in 6 days. I don't know if he has shipped yet or not. Unfortunately I didn't get alot of info on the guy. Just that his name is "Chris" and his truck is a patina'd orange "65 Chevy, and that he has a shop with someone in Downey. I paid him with paypal, so I don't know if I can track him down through there or not. If anyone knows the area please help. Oh yeah, I met the guy on " C-10 Forums ", " lowlow65 ". For all I know something bad may have happened to the guy or something. I haven't had trouble getting in touch with him even after he got the $$ . We were trying to work out the shipping issue that I posted about before. Anyways, help if you can. I may just be F'D!!

Hopefully you'll get them....but just keep in touch with paypal, I know usually they want you to wait it out, but you can call them and just tell them your situation, and maybe they can tell you what steps will be taken if you don't get it or hear from him, they might at least ease your mind some. Wish you the best.

damn beau sorry to hear...if ya want i know some ppl that know some ppl that met some ppl that kill ppl lol. hope you get everything worked out! ive been through the same thing but the guy just ended up having to work alot so everything was legit, cause i sent a money order for my wheels and didnt hear back for a week, but soon after i got the goods though....hope thats all that has happened to you brosef!!

It sounds like he's deep in the truckin scene, that he wouldn't risk screwing anybody over and getting a bad rep! Maybe out of town or something....or on maybe a trip to Hawaii on the money he got...lol

Iguess as it turns out he said he busted his cell and couldnt recieve calls and didnt write down my contact info or anything, and had comp. issues too. But wheels got shipped Sat. and I have tracking #'s for 'em. So it worked out. But thanks again ya'll!!
