The Camaro we just finished Empty
PostSubject: The Camaro we just finished   The Camaro we just finished EmptySun May 24, 2009 7:06 pm

The car was real rough when the customer brought it to us. We replaced both fenders (crap aftermarket parts that we had to make fit). Door skin on the right side, with a rust repair to the shell. Patches in the left door. Patches in both 1/4 panels at the front and rear of the wheel opening. The nose piece was broken nearly in half. They dont make many pieces for a 77 so we had to make due on some things. We shaved the handles, side markers, lines around the tailights, and the trunk lock. I was unsure when the owner said he wanted it 2 toned, but im am very happy with the look now that its said and done. I really wish he would have listened to me about putting 18's and 20's or 22's on it, and now that the car is done the owner thinks the same thing. Oh well, its his money. Hope yall like!!!!

I know what your saying, i never really liked this body camaro. Even worse the late 70's cars with the big fugly aluminum bumpers. The car grew on me over time, but if it were mine there would deff be a few things different.

Lower would be nice, but you would have to hack up the floor to run the exhaust. GM left no space to run it, it just hangs under the uni-body structure. Ill get the codes for you on the colors, i dont have them right here at the moment.

It is dropped 2 inches all the way around, anymore any your hacking the floor for the 3 inch exhaust to run through. And believe me, for once this car actually needs that 3 inch exhaust.
