| ok heres the deal: For the past two weeks I have been wheelin and dealin with Potter on buying his DOLAY dually truck.Im cosidering digging deep into my financial resourses to make the deal go down.He has the truck on mautofied asking 100k which is way outta priced. He has offered to sell it to me at a much lower price than that.Im sure everyone on here is familiar with his truck.Give me your honest opinion of how much you feel the truck is really worth.Or the most you would spend on that badass truck. | |

| If you love it so much then it will always be priceless I admire that truck alot too!
Now reality check...
You can probably pick up a stock truck like his for about $35-45k
Figure another $25-35k to get it where its at...
if its less then 60-80k sounds like a good deal...

| damn in canada that truck would go for 60 grand stock. but yeah take whatever stock value is and add the work cost then go a bit below that and if so fair deal. I doubt the thing has too many miles on it. what would you do with it if you bought it ren? use it to tow the fullsize? | |

I wouldnt do a thing to it but put gas in it.I cant top out more than $45000 for it,maybe $50000 if he gives me three months to pay him another $10000.He doesnt want to fudge under $85000.I keep telling him he gonna have to take a wash on all the custom shit hes done to it.Anyway I think hes gonna post it on ebay, and take it to a BARRETT AUCTION.If he doesnt sell it there I think he will come down to my level.I am so serious about buying this as a retirement truck.Im gonna keep working on him, I just wanted to see what guys felt was a fair market price for it without feeling like a wasted alot of money. Its just looks to me like a perfect truck that I wouldnt have to do nothing to.ive always liked that truck.

| how well does it perform as a daily?? i remember when he was coming from houston to tyler texas he couldnt drive over about 50 mph cause the injectors were screwing up or some crap like that. but its a clean as fawk truck no doubt but id never budge that much in my life for it, hes just figuring in the 20,000 he had to pay ekstensive to build it and every cent here and there that went into it and the sticker on the truck when he bought it brand spanking new....if thats the case then i could get about 30 or so for mine??
i would do like what rigo and others have stated and just see what you could get a nice used one for cause im sure with the economy the way it is you could get one hell of a deal on one right now and then figure in what it would cost to stock floor it bags etc. and the possible 8 or so thousand for the wheels cause im sure 6 billet 24's custom cut for that puppy werent the cheapest....just my two pennies there renny ma boy!!!

| dude if your SERIOUS we can work a deal.note that i never mentioned on here that my truck was on mautofied because i didnt want guys to think i was BSn (since i am a known jokester).when it comes to money i dont BS.i figured if somebody was serious about buying a custom truck, they would have seen it on mautofied.thats the first place one would look if they were in the market for a bagged custom truck.i will go lower than my asking price to fellow club members who are SERIOUS.throw some numbers at me.and so far, i have never heard anything negative about potters DOLAY.i will get to see it when i go to texas in july.plus a bigger truck will do me justice to help me feel more spots in my chapter, since i hold it down solo. Andy i love you.i promise i wont tell them how your puttin it down with your truck. | |

| yep, what farmer said... he was having some drivability issues with it during turkey drag time and lakefront time so i'd double check to make sure those concerns are takin care of. i think he had a buddy at the chevy dealership so warranty was takin care of it, i think... hate for you to get it and have to drop mad cash on a new duramax repair to get it down the road... lol he knows as well as everyone else that you can't buy something, spend lots of money on it, and sell it for what you have in it... lol i wish ya luck though! the truck is sik as hell fo sho! keep us updated bro! | |

| he told me that his buddy at the dealership fixed the problem.he also admits that the truck has a few other miner bugs in it,but we all have those.
he never tells how much he paid exstensive.acually i never really asked him.i just know last year at heat wave,he volunteerly told me that he gave exstensive close to 25k as a down payment.im sure any other half decent shop coulda done the same work if not better for less than half that price.im sure he had to pay up the ass for the name exstensive on it (or however they spell their name).if you look up his ssm profile (IMLOWER) i believe he has all his build pics up there.or exstensive use to have all the work they done to it on their website.
