65 custom deluxe project

Picked this one up for free today along with the one next to it. NO dents, just faded paint and rust. Exactly what i've been looking for. bench seat got redone a couple years back and has factory A/C. All it's getting is a motor, 22s and replacing springs with bags. I'm more excited about this than my
S-10. LOL

Yeah right. LOL, this one's gonna be a backyard special. I've been laid off since Feb. I should be saving every penny i find, but i'm young and stupid. LOL How you like my Microsoft paint.

The U2-55s are really the perfect wheels... big lip, simple spokes and cheap. I REALLY REALLY want billets, but seriously this one has to be on the cheap due to my situation only getting unemployment right now. The s-10 is going full show this time "no taillights, license plates, nothing.." so i just want something i can still jump in and cruise. The 65 has all it's lenses replaced, no dents, no holes, just rust and faded paint. I'm Freakin out at how awsome this thing is. It had the 3 on the tree replaced with a 4-speed granny not long ago which is a plus cause those column shifts are just weird. lol

nice.. and i strongly agree w/ the U2's.. i was tempted to buy em in 5 bar for the f150 just because of how clean and simple and DEEEEP DISH they are

awesome...& the price was right too

Me and my buddy that's going to help build it got a motor today for free also. Get this... 1985 6.2 chevy deisel. LMAO, but seriously it only has 39,000 miles and i heard it run. Oh and the brown 65 with no front clip or Interior is going to be for sale cheap.

Got the interior and truck cleaned up, painted motor bay and frame, switched the hood lights out for some clear ones we got out of a school bus hood and started tearing the motor apart to find a couple bent push rods, a destroyed piston, and a hole in the cylinder. Now we gotta get a sleeve job and some new parts. Guess it's not as free as we were hoping. LOL

yeah.... it's not gona be as free as ya thought, I'll come pick it up this weekend and get it out your way. ;-)

You know I'm a fan. Should be pretty sweet. I prefer short beds but if its layed out I can look past the long bed. LOL
