| I posted these in the newb section already. I thought I would move them over to here so I wouldnt congest the other thread as progress comes in. I am building this blazer to lay 20/22 combo. It will have a 350/ 700r4 transmission. Also 55 chevy truck dash as well as any other way to make the interior look retro. Here is what the rendering looks like: | |

| somehow we are just dont know yet. And we are bending it ourself. That is why some look alittle different than others. We are new to this bending thing lol. A few of us put in on a JD2 bender and have it mounted at bagged69c10's garage | |

| i have the protools 105 model with out hydrualics. i use alot less metal bending manually than with power. maybe i just dont know how to operate something that high tech! lol. i can see 3 things u might can do to stiffen both the lower and upper mounting supports.
1) take some tubing and bend it 35 degrees and weld it to frame in on the front side of the lower bar and attatch it to the upper mounting point. make a gusset to come off the lower bars mounting point and weld to the frame.
2)gusset the lower bar mounting point on the side of the frame. take a piece of tube and weld it on top of the gusset and bend it the 55 (or so) degrees and then weld it to the upper bar mounting point.
3)take some plate and weld it in between the upper mount point and lower mounting point and then bend a 45 (or so) degree tube and weld to the side of the frame and the plate.
hope this helps man. let me know if i confused u. i cant explain myself very well. i like to talk with hands and the interweb wont allow me to do that. haha | |

| incase anyone is wondering, hes giving input on how to gusset the mounting points. I kinda like the idea of welding them together but instead of plate what do you think about a piece of tube connecting the 2 then a tube from that one curvrd to the frame as a gusset | |
