| Yeah it's not a rumor. Andy Mock and I were canned today and the magazine was folded. It came out of left field but apparently it wasn't making enough money for the suits upstairs. The January issue of the magazine was almost finished and they aren't even going to publish it, which is lame. As for everyone that I shot photos of during that road trip to the RA show...SIM has the materials. Wish i could print the stories somewhere because there are some great ones. Thanks to everyone that supported the mag, allowed me to photograph their shops and trucks, and shared their lives and stories with me. It was a great four year run. If you've got my cell number feel free to call and I'll fill you in on the details. In the meantime, I'll be looking for a new job. -mike finnegan

| Just read this on SSM, posted by the editor of Truckin'
Listen up everyone- This is a horrible situation, not only for the magazine world, but for 2 great guys who no longer have jobs. Sport Truck was our brother in the mag world and we did our best to Help each other out. Unfortunately, the truck community is to blame for this loss. When we, as enthusiasts don't support the mags, this kind of thing happens. Magazines have to make money and if when you're at the grocery store, of Wal-Mart, or the bookstore, and you're not buying one, we all suffer. Don't let our competition fool you, this had nothing to do with them, it had to do with the truck world not buying magazines. If you have a Sport Truck subscription, you will now receive Truckin'. For all of you who had your truck shot for Sport Truck as a feature, we at Truckin' are going to do our best to run your truck. Also, for all you go-fast, muscle-truck guys, Truckin' is adding a new performance truck section in 2010 (you'll see it on stands in 2 months). This section will whet your appetite with blown, big-tire, hot-rods with a bed. Also, we will be picking up as much of the Sport Truck project truck tech and build-ups, as Mike with allow This way, you'll still see stories from Calin and Mike. As for Mike and Andy, no one feels worse than we do. It could have been us. If you love the truck scene and you want to keep it alive and well—do your part! Buy truck magazines. -Dan Ward, Editor Truckin

| I agree with Dan, BUT not everyone can subscribe to ALL the mags. I have Truckin and MiniTruckin. Those are the ones I chose to subscribe to. Now from time to time I will buy others off the shelf if there's something in there I wana keep, like pics of us at shows and peoples rides that I know. To poor to sub. to all of'em.... lol | |

| i had a subscription to sport truck... Personally i subscribed because i enjoyed reading finnegans column way back when he was with MT..
as far as dan wards comment goes, i think if a mag isnt selling, its not the buyers fault. Its the ppl who make the decisions on what gets put in it... step it up and ppl well buy...
anyway, guess i get truckin now... yay...
