| 1949 Chevy 3100 1/2 ton SWB 235 inline six cylinder Hasnt been started since the early 90s, but shouldnt be an issue. Very good body, minimal damage, can very easily be straight with a hammer and dolly, and a new passenger side lower rear fender patch. Plans are: S10 front spindles and rear end Tubular controls arms Plate front x-member (solid front axle trucks do not have x-members under the motor) Did i mention pneumatic suspension? Two link rear with panhard Some frame plates to make it a complete box in some areas Most of all getting it running Im not really going to change its appearance any except new steelies and 1 inch white walls Heres the pics, ill get more tomorrow. Jennifer took these with her fancy Nikon D90 Me lookin like WTF woman, lol? | |

| The truck has been in my family since it was new. It only has about 40,000 miles on it. It was my grandpas truck. It was passed down to me before i knew what driving was, lol.
Anyway, an update... I pulled the spark plugs out, and the motor turns like it was new. YAY! Drained the oil, it was black as coal, but no sludge in the pan. So... im ordering a new 8 circuit wiring harness from ebay tonight. My buddy has a 4 speed that is a direct bolt on. SO hopefully i will get some good progress done soon. Just need to start making some money. I need a S10 blazer rear end, a new brake booster and master cylinder, new front brake assembly, some steel, a welder, and some air bag stuff. I wish i could say turkey drag. We'll see. | |
