| well we got the new trans in, and went ahead and bit the bullet and bought the weber for the truck. so we spent the last cpl nites workin on it,got rid of all the rest of the emission crap which equaled out to half my engine bay. it runs so much better now, and def. will get up and move now. time to cut out the factory sheetmetal and start workin on new sheetmetal under the hood and get this bitch done. our quickie throttle cable bracket: and now u can see how much room i have in the engine compartment: | |

| oh yea at the last meeting, beau noticed oil on my tire. we found the leak and fixed that as well. ended up being a slight leak at the valve cover, nothin major. had a very minimal coolant leak off the back of the factory carb. but that was obviously taken care of lol. | |

| some more work tonite..... forgot i had these headlights still sittin in the garage, h4 diamond headlights i think-ish lol but they look better than the old ones then we busted out the fineline and started mappin out the paint for future reference. hopefully sooner than later. top half of the truck will be a raspberry red metallic as well as some extensive airbrushing on the red, w/ an ivory outline. so ill show u the idea of where were lookin at doin the 2tone. now i need some opinions, on the side of the cab behind the pillar, should i break the 2tone in: pic #1: or pic #2: im really diggin # 2, because from the back of the truck itll look like the whole top of the truck is red, and when u roll up next to it, you'll notice the difference. lemme know ur thoughts | |

| I think that I would just go straight across on the 2tone. just my thought. are you going to put a candy over the air brushing so that its kinda hidden? | |

| i would do a straight 2tone, but it wont look right on the bodyline, cuz the body line wraps up the cab vertically. as for the airbrushing, oh yea, itll be sick, i have no doubts, think west coast lowrider style paint jobs w/ the monochomatic color combos. gonna have my buddy chad do the airbrushing | |
