to let anyone who might wonder what is going on. The Ranger is still stalled. We replaced the fuel pump, reflashed, checked inertia switch. Still nothing, it needs to be towed and fixed. A truck that is worth playing with, that nobody can get to run and near $1000 in past DMV. AND a tow to Ford dealer at this point. Just to get figured out. Just to get running, then worry about smog. This was the worst thing I have ever taken on. I frankly would rather bag and BD another truck that runs. I fab, I'm not a mechanic.

So the question is, do I strip the parts and toss it to a wrecker? Move on? Lots of guys around here know this truck. I want to do something with it, but frankly at this point NOTHING other than the tow home has gone right.

Anyone want it? $3K for anyone here. KP rear, custom control arms front. three compressors and a solid air system. Stock floor'd by Eli, and the work is tight.

Have you called Eli?
He got it to run when it was doing this when Will had it.

I haven't called Eli. I tried what they did to get up going. Sorry for venting guys, I'm just frustrated at this point.

I have not given up on it. I just thought things would have come easier. I could have bagged the truck I bought, and drug it for 5K miles, for what I got in effort here.

Clint bought the my FSC with cash and future trade. I bought the Hombre to build with the cash. Paid only $900, and $200 to correct smog issues. Pocketed a little cash (paid bills) The Ranger appeared, and was a to good to be true for the future considerations. In the mean time, I have drove the shit out of the Hombre for 3 months now, smogged, commutes 80 miles a day.

Heck, lets put it back to stage one. Get this back to what I thought I MIGHT get for futures with with Clint - KP rear for an s10, 8 valve air system, and control arms. With this, I'll be up and going with Hombre. Then BD'd this winter.

Clint and Dougie did an awesome job to get me the Ranger. But frankly, I have a beat down Hombre that I drive to work and a Ranger that sits out of my FSC. I don't, and have never really felt the Ranger. Ya, it's a mini which is what I wanted and why I sold the FSC. I feel the Hombre. I drive it, I want it. I wanna do the work on this. The Ranger has sat. I did some body work, and tried to get the thing going. I bought parts....I just don't feel it. The Ranger is worth the effort, I don't know if I have it. The Ranger is LESS work then what I'm aiming for. It rocks. The Hombre needs 25+ body work(pro estimate=me), hrs and hrs to BD, install air, but I want to do it. Body/paint is easy (I work as a production manager in a body shop).

If you are not into it, it won't get done. This truck WILL sit in my garage, and it doesn't deserve that.
