the f150 is under the knife again... and the 53 ratrod

well after southeast showdown i decided its time to tear it up again... oh well im hopin to have it done for slamfest. im redoin the front suspension which is already done. building a new speaker box, changin the interior, adding some metal work to the rear end, and repainting it. should be at the paint shop this coming monday. ill take some pics soon. also got started on the 53 5 window truck a week ago. plans for it are ratrod style. leavin it all rusty lookin but solid underneath. its gettin 3 inches chopped off the bottom of the fenders, 3 inch body section and a 3 inch chop top. body should be on the frame within 2 weeks to get started on the chop and the section. ill get pics of it up too soon. heres what the 53 started out as. its already torn apart. got the cab on stands and patchin the floorboards where its needed but other than that its a really solid truck. everything is there all evenly rusted.

got some progress done this week.. i will try and upload some pics tomorrow.. f150 is just about ready to be resparayed.. hopefully start sprayin it next week.. got my custom running boards for the ratrod comin in thurs night. plan on choppin 3 inches off the bottom of the fenders for the custom runnin boards. should look sweet with a 3" section and 3" chop.. other then that ratrod has been kinda on hold. im buildin a truck for my neighbor in exchange for the paintjob on my truck.. ill post some pics of this as well tomorrow.. it a 66 f100 with a worked cleveland gettin stockfloored on 22's with a porterbuilt front suspension setup.. got the rails built yesterday.. anyways ill start a thread with pics on this tomorrow..
