Starter, complete re-wire for carb conversion, clean engine bay, stock floor frame from firewall back (lengthened to accept regular cab bed), new front arms to accept S10 spindles, two link, S10 rear end, twin 444's, 5 gallon tank, 6 parker valves, slam RE7's, fuel cell, in-line fuel pump, clean up the traditional body drop, plate the rockers.

And theres a whole 'nother list when it comes to making it pretty. Thank you that is all.

So... got the cab off today, and it looks like, even though the truck was freeish, we have a whole lot of work ahead. The body mounts on the pass. side had, 7 washers, and on the drivers side, 3. Also the rockers are beat all to hell. So... The plan is to cut the cab right below the doors, and plate the cab up with 1/2 inch. Cut the floor, firewall, and rear cab wall out, set it on the new 2x3 chassis thats coming, and build a new floor, firewall, and rear cab wall around that. DEF. not gonna be in full paint by tex mex, but its still tex mex bound. Ill get pics up soon.

Ok, so my wife and i have talked it over, and here is what we have come up with. Since I have a SUPER secret project on the map, we are gonna build this thing with as little cost as possible. Got the cab off tonight, and the good news is that the chassis is good. All it needs is the drag plates cut off, and a backhalf. As well as new air management. The cab however is trash. Its been so hacked and pieced together during the bodydrop, its beyond building a new floor. SO im on the hunt for a donor cab. Here are a few pics from tonight....

NEW CAB!



Me, my wife, and Matt went and picked it up yesterday, very nice cab, nothing not easily fixed. Got it cheap, so were back on the road! Should start on some framerails soon! Oh! This can has the jumper seats in the rear unlike my old cab, so it's technically a family hauler too!

I finally got the motor on the stand today! Got it mostly stripped and ready for a bath. The internals are all good on the bottom end, so thats good news. Im gonna have a friend inspect the top end since its OHC. Probably just gonna re-gasket and seal everything, and put new freeze plugs in. Definitely gonna get a polished header, go to a 100 amp gm alternator, and i'm pondering on building an aluminium intake. But the motor will be super clean and simple.

We ended up getting a steal on the cab. As you can see its not gonna be hard at all to straighten out. Im was stoked to see that all the parts for the jumper seats are there. Im gonna get some customer stuff out of the way and then start on the chassis. The cab is going to my buddies bodyshop, and he's gonna get it straight for us.

I need some opinions... Im not going to put the factory dash back in, so a new dash is in order. Were not going to do an old school them so i think and old school dash is out of the question? So i'm thinking something super simple that flows with the lines of the truck, with a simple gauge set up. Sheetmetal of course. Anyone got any ideas?
