| I need some opinions... I know that I am doing some sort of 2-tone paint, but wasnt sure exactly how I was going to lay it out..I dont want the traditional split at the body line 2-tone everyone has...I really like how Dooders paint is 2-tone but its not the traditional look...so after hours of searching I was thinking of doing something that replicated the look of a 55 buick..sort of like this with the top being black and the bottom green... I am even kicking around the idea of getting the chrome strips and having them reworked to fit the ranger...I know in the end its my decision, but would like some input of what you guys think this would look like with the smoothies...remember I am blacking out the faces of the smoothies..I am also going to be adding some old ford emblems on the truck as well... | |

| Ouch Paco. Nothing wrong with a traditional 2 tone. Instead of real Chrome y not have it airbrushed | |

| i know this looks crappy but i did it in about 5 minutes. anyway i've thought for a while now that it'd look cool to do a two tone kinda like you had in mind then make the back wheels the same color as the top of the two tone and the front wheels the same color as the bottom of the two tone. if you're gonna do vinyls on the wheels like mentioned in that other thread then this might be worth a shot. even if you wouldn't like it you could just get different vinyls. anyway you asked for ideas so here's a suggestion. | |

| That color scheme on the buick is exactly what I was planning for the s10 except for the lines being a tad different.

| I agree Keith but its not gonna get the attention at the shows from most people. My boy Roy has a flat black truck and it always has a crowd around it. | |

Its because your directional wheels aren't mounted correctly on your truck. | |
