motor # 4.............

well some of you know that I have been having motor issues all summer so rather than tear into mine to see what the problem is I scored a good deal today on another one and an extra tranny. looks like the truck is coming back apart once again. I have a few other things that I would like to change up before spring nothing too major just some small details.

well after being sick for 2 damn weeks. last night I finished tearing apart the new motor and got it painted. tonight I am getting the old motor ready to pull.

I got all the accessories off the front and all the wireing removed and labeled. hopefully I can get some more done tomorrow night. I didn't have too much time tonight

motor is out. actually came out really easy almost like it didn't want to be in there anymore lol. should have the new one in this weekend. cross your fingers that I can get it back in without scratching anything lol

new motor is in. couldn't get it running last night. I think it is a timing issue. going out to try to work it out now.

I took it for a little drive down the road a few minutes ago and it ran great. I'm going to build an engine cover/air intake for it now to hide all the TBI wiring

thanks guys. I got to work on the engine cover/air intake tonight. I should have it all welded together tomorrow night or friday night. it is coming along good. I will posty pics once I get it all welded together
