Poll on what to build now

Hey guys.. been away from the forum for a while deciding on what i wanna build next.. was thinking either my s10 again, a 88-98 full size or a 51 chevy p/u i found.

Yeah im leaning towards that too. i already got my s10 frame that im gunna use my front clip and just build the frame for the truck.

i have been tossing the idea around of either a z71 flairside bed or a s10 flairside bed or just the original all smoothed out

The S10 just cuz I want to justify all the hours I have into it lol. But honestly for you the fullsize seems more practical for taking the fam out and easier to find parts around here.

yeah but when u find a 51 chevy for 1500 or a 57 chevy for 1500 its kinda hard to turn down lol

I have a 51 chevy truck myself. i picked it up a 2 years ago for 1,000 bucks and it runs. it is all stock but ive got a s-10 frame to go under it and it is going to be stock body but it will be in the dirt, if i can ever get done with my 2003 chevy truck im starting on the 51.

do you have any pics of the 51....i love these trucks

i see that truck is a GMC, i like the chevy grill alot better but that looks like a good looking truck. looks like it could be a sweet build

well i finally got my truck home picked up a 92 s10 ext cab. damn thing fired right up after it sitting for so long... kinda of a shame to tear it all apart now... nvm haha no its not hahaha hopefully if the rain stays away tomorrow im pulling the box of and fixing the cab corner before the complete tear down begins.. but def will take pics before and during.. ughhh feels so good after 3 years to get another project im freaking pumped! lol

well got a enough done today fricken camera died tho so no pics yet but i got the bed pulled off and cut the bedsides off of it and that about the only thing stock im using from the bed hahaha.. tomorrows plans are to pull off the new rockers and actually redo them properly dont like hacked shit and i know u wouldn't see it but i know its there so its no good lol.. anyway more update tomorrow hopefully with pics lol

well still no damn camera but i did end up getting the new rocker welded in and a couple of patch panels done on the a piller but all in all its looking good on the one side lol.
