Looking for a Shop / Pro Empty
PostSubject: Looking for a Shop / Pro   Looking for a Shop / Pro EmptyMon Oct 01, 2012 2:30 pm

I wasn't really sure where to start this thread, but I guess its off topic?

I have been looking for a custom shop or amazing fabricator to work on my truck. Its an 86 Ext. cab shortbed toyota. I've been in the scene for years and would love to do the work myself, but don't have the time or space to do so.

That being said, if you know any websites, shops, amazing fabricators you can direct me to, I would really appreciate it.

I would need someone capable of doing pretty extensive work (ie. engine swaps, bodydrops, maybe an irs?)

I would prefer if it was somewhere in california, but im open to other locations.

Thanks in advance. Shocked

Thanks for the suggestion. They actually helped with my neighbor's dakota years ago, (also an acro member at the time) and charged him an astronomical amount for a back half. (almost $8000)

After hearing what he paid, and seeing the results, I can't justify taking my ride to devious.

Thats about 8k worth of backhalf there my friend. Good work aint cheap, and cheap work aint good. Im sure there was more to it then JUST a backhalf. Jeff has always done right by me. What exactly are you wanting done?

Actually, you're right. I'm sure that 8000 included the body drop which i failed to take into account. So my bad there..

I want to replace the engine/tranny, floor it on 20s, maybe a back half / IRS, skin the bed/ shave everything.
