project: On jackstands too long.

After having this thing sitting for 2 years now while getting other crap in my life staightened out....I am determined to get it back on the road by spring.
this is how it looked 2 years ago when I just paid it off.

decided to get back at it tonight.


then this happened...I guess you get what you pay for.

so then I got these mocked up.


sanded, primed, and got a 1st coat on these.

gotta start making room for the new wheels.

good job dan but remember never to buy tools from harbor frieght lol especially electric stuff believe me been there done that stuff lol thats why i buy craftsman or any name brand tools now ....keep of the good work bro i will be awaiting new pics of your ride ..........have a good one

all my hand tools are craftsman. I used to share a garage with my brother-in-law. we always used his power tools. we had a little falling out and i had to boot him from the garage. the time came to work on the truck and I had to buy what i could afford.

well i have some experience at that.

best thing is you are close to summit. thats where i get all my cells, msd pumps, line and fittings.

i think i have around 400 in my fuel system

I'm going to try and get the rest of the notch finished up this friday and then start on the firewall. I'll start saving my pennies now for that fuel cell.

Damn Harbor Freight tools LOL. Looking good man. I had my dime on stands for nearly a Year doing the body drop. Now I am wanting to get the shaving done, but am looking for the motivation to do it . Keep us posted on the progress.
