Random Winter update....

Here's a EDC compressor I got... Sanden 709







Where the EDC is going to be mounted.. where stock ac was.









The problem, the ports for the air are hitting the top of the engine components n doesnt give me room to put a fitting on. Luckily, I know a guy who wants this, ahembatmanahem, so gonna sell it to him and get the right sanden i need tomorrow.







Gonna get this style 709, obviously for a serpintine belt

Also, got around to tearing apart my front pass. bag to fix the leak at the fitting.... gotta bolt it back up in the am..

well too late, already sold mine and bought a sanden 760 to 780 i think... forgot already, that fits in the area.. problem is now, when i tested the hot and ground wires to see if the clutch works, the wire keeps getting hot, i tried testing them both ways with no luck.... any idea why doug or anyone?

oh and super pissed, cuz my buddy i sold it to was able bolt this right onto his stock bracket. of his 4 cyl dakota SOB.. haha

there's not really a pos or neg when it comes to electromagnet pulley clutches... either way should work... if the wires are getting hot and the clutch is not engaging, you could have a short to ground somewhere in the coil winding and may need a new clutch...

yeah im just gonna return it n get another sanden sunday.

third time is the charm... had to go to another junk yard to get it,, but me and my buddy dave found 2 like i got before, and was gonna take one and just buy the new rear cap, but found this sanden 709.. no good pics..

my new comp with top mounts.. gonna take a little work to finish...

Ehh, spent money to get the fittings i needed rather then tapping it... it was actually metric, not 7/8" like the site says.... Just gotta go pick up the stainless line from Kris Dye next week, and some air line, fitting for at the tank, check valve, and pressure switch.. gonna run a toggle switch temp for it, then put a pressure switch.

u run it alone, or with electric comps too?

Finally, after 3 duds, got the comp thats gonna fit.... got it bolted on, just need to wire it up to a switch, and hook up the serpentine belt ...

doing that tomorrow... then once i make sure it works right, I am going to hook up the air line and what not.

got it working, just need to hook up airline tonight... excited

got it hooked up now, and omfg does it fill up fast.... definately worth the investment..
