4 door on the floor

If your gas tank is a 98 up tank would you do me a solid, what's it measure at its widest point, both ways? Not worried how tall just how big to make my frame rails to fit around it. Mine will not be here for a few days and it's killing me to not work on the truck

It barely fit in 33" x 21" opening before I mounted my bags back there and had to have it modified.

I had the same problem with the van so I changed them to this way also over the winter.

So it is a 98 and up gas tank and should fit in a 34x22 pretty good then?

Im not sure if its a 95 or 98 tank I cant remember but Im pretty sure the only difference between them is the opening for the fuel pump.

Yeah it should fit in that opening good if you look back on pg 1 you can see the tanks sitting between the frame rails resting on the lip where the top and bottom of the tank meet.

Ok thanks for the help! I have a gen one tank I'm going to mock up with. I have lots of side space, but want to keep it as close as I can to the bumper to have plenty of space for the watts link, thanks for your help sorry to whore up your build lol. Keep it up with the truck it looks good!

Thanks guys Im still working steady on it. Today after work I rounded off the sides of the floor to follow the shape of the back seat and also added a filler piece to the passenger rear tub for a cleaner look.

Baller!
