| What shows, or rather what one show does everyone plan on attending next year besides southeast showdown?
I would love to see Acro as a club decide, ok this show we are all going to unanimously decide that we should go and represent anything and everything we can. I know a lot of people will say well that is what southeast is for, and I agree to an extent, but it is also expected by others in this scene.
To me, there is nothing better than just seeing an entire section of show grounds just covered with a specific clubs vehicles, and I for one have never seen this from Acro, at least within the years that I have been a member.
I know this is a lot to ask of people seeing what state the economy and the club is in, but I think if we can all decide and make a commitment now, long before the show everyone will be able to get their shit together if there is this much planning in advance.
Booking this early, or at the beginning of the year will save a ton of money. Planning it out can make it cheaper for people to ride together. We can easily all just stay at the exact same hotel. The morning of the show we can all roll together
Let's hear your thoughts
My vote would be for RA or Showfest, but Showfest might be harder as hotel rooms have already started booking

| yeah, I hear ya man. Start planning now, I'm sure if we all make the commitment none of us will regret any amount of time we have to spend driving That and if you haven't been to a show in the south, you really don't understand what you are missing | |

| For us in the Northeast it's always Low Rollers, that is one of the only shows that we are all at every year. Although I am planning on heading to RA next year as long as the money is there, It's only a 19 hr ride for me. | |

| I've been layed off since Feb. 5 and RA is just north of Memphis, TN. I carried one of our Texas petitioning prospects with me and my girl for a 6 hr drive and it was worth every mile. Tex Mex is the only show I've been to in the four years of being a member that I've seen more than three of four club trucks and it really makes me sad. | |

| I would like for it to be showfest for the same reasons I just worry that it might too soon for the club members to all actually get together on it
you know how it is word travels slow through acro

| I haven't ever been to a Showfest but I plan on attending it next year. RA was a great show and I plan on attending it again as well. I will be at which ever show the club decides on. I also think Tex Mex is a good centrally located show and maybe some guys from cali could come out for it. | |

| As long as I've been goin to shows, Tex Mex tops them all. Now with that bein said, I've been to Reso or West Coast Nationals... Showfest runs a close second, REAL close! I really like the camping part of Tex Mex and we can get a section for us and us only. I plan on bein at Tex Mex 2010 Fo Show and gettin there thursday aswell. If that becoomes the decided show I can get with Andrew and give him a head/ride count and tell him where we wana be. Hell, if I had to I'll go wed and be there to rope off our spot thur morning. Camp Acro sounds pretty nice.... LoL I will say this, I'm very proud goin to Tex Mex cause people know we come deep. You have no idea how many people asked me when I got there this past year if we had shirts for the olympics again... LoL If we had just a handfull of people from the other chapters we would own that show... LoL
But, I also think it'd be KooL to show support for ShowFest coming back... Do we know if it's gona be like it used to be? Shut down a 4 lane state hwy for a couple mils to drag and cruise?
There's also Spring Fling... Show, Sring Break wildness, and a beach. It don't get much better than that! LoL I've been many years and the worst thing I can say about that show is it was cold as shit in 08! LoL
No matter where it is, I'd do everything I could to make it to the show if everyone is gona be there. I'd love to meet all you guys i only know on here.

| I've never been to Tex Mex, and would love to go, however I get the vibe that it is a huge party show which I don't think is what the club needs. Partying yes, but a show that emphasis's it? Probably not, I think a more chill environment would go a long way for people actually talking and getting to know each other. | |

| Spring Fling was a blast... something central would be the best shot to try to get the most out too.. cuz i dont for-see me making it to a TX or Cali show anytime in the near future Better chance of hitting a FL show since that's a 2nd home to me though.... | |

| I can give a different view since I am neither a member or prospect. I remember a few years ago reading minitruckin and seeing "Acro, club of the year" and thought, now that's a club I would like to be in. And then last year I meat Farmer, Matt (NC) and Kim, and made some good friends. And who all great people, which then made me think, Wow I would really like to be in this club one day. I've since then meat a few more guy's though Xbox live, like CJ and Nate. See, I go to alot of shows since I work for Waylayed. Out of all the shows Ive been to just in the last two years, Slammin & Jammin and SES were the two biggest Acro participation shows. Now I don't go to every show, but we do try to go to the biggest ones that are within reason on driving distance to the east. Now i'm not trying to make anybody upset im just giving my opinion. I would just like to see more guys at some of the bigger shows. I would like to see Acro be club of the year again. And in order to be there again it is going to take every members help. I would like to see Acro around for many years to come cause one day I would like to prospect for this club and become a member of this family. Sorry if I offended anyone or spoke out of line, Im just trying to help. | |

| there is nothing offensive in your post. It's hard to offend people when it is the truth
If you guys don't mind how about everyone post up how far of a drive it is to the following shows
Spring Fling (Panama City, FL): 12 hrs RA (Millington, TN): 7.5 hrs Tex Mex (Somerville, TX): 17.5 hrs Showfest (Tunica, MS): 8 hrs
This way we can get a feel for what is really centrally located
