got a compressor question...

has anybody dealt any with the oasis compressors?? got a good deal on the bad boy oasis the xd4000 i beleive it is for a damn good price brand new in the box but really dont know how they perform or work as compared to just a regular engine driven as far as being oil-less or what?? and maybe a wiring configuration also?? how much do they pull etc. etc. any knowledge would be appreciated!! thanks!

i know they are bad ass mofo's when wired correctly. my boy had one in a blazer with a stock alternator and it would shut the truck off when the headlights and stereo were on. this was years ago, i think it was a 24volt too. i bet some dudes on GMFS know how to wire them bad boys. good luck with it homie!

That new dually we bagged when i worked at the shack had the same model. We had three yellow top optimas on it. You have to care for them regularly. I.e. checking oil, filter, etc. Other than that, a very wonderful addition to an air ride system. it took about 1 minute to fill 10 gallons if im not mistaken.

I know they are fast as fuck.
