| ok here it goes ill try to explain this best as possible and see if anyone can understand or help me out. Right now the wheels & tires i had on my truck were 265/35/22 up front on a 8 1/2 wide wheel, and 295/30/22 rear on a 10" wide wheel, now im looking for about the same sidewall height if not maybe a little bit taller height and im not saying like i want it the same height from the floor to the top of the tire (which the 22's were right around 29" or so) im looking for a nice size tire for a 24x8 1/2 up front ( cause the front's were sectioned from a 10" hoop) and a 24x10 rear...im clueless on 24" tire sizes or tires in general lol. | |

| Sweet Farmer, 24s are gonna be nuts on the back! So do you need/know the formula on how to figure out the sidewall size from rim lip to tread edge? Its in Milimeters. Damn metric system and percentages. Its actually real easy. Let me know ill be more specific if needed dude. Your truck is Fn awsome! | |

| next thing would be would those sizes fit well on a 10" wide wheel, and what would fit well on the 8 1/2 wider up front? like not make it looked stretched on there etc, id like to do the 285/35/24 since they have those sizes in the Nitto's so i dont have to run Chineese off brand b/s lol | |

| for the rerar (10" dish) the 285 are 11.22" wide the 295 are 11.614" wide a difference of .394"...or a little more than 3/8" should be good in my opinion. let me look again for the front
only "narrower" tire in a 24" that i seen was a 255-30 that would be a 3.01 sidewall and 10.003 wide | |

| did you ever figure out your tire question. If I understand you right you're not worried about the overall diameter, you just don't want to run to small of a sidewall(profile). I'm runnin a 285/35/22 toyo on the back of mine with a 22x10 and I think it's good. Bout the same profile as a 265/35 on a 81/2" rim | |

| ended up going with 295/35/24's out back which is pretty damn meaty/tall and 285/30/24's up front so i guess i will have to see how bad it looks between the front and rears, and just so i could atleast keep Nitto's on it all the way around, didnt want to have to mix match tires front to back. Its so hard to find a tire to fit on the front of that 24x8.5 cause mainly they would be for like a chrysler300 or a charger etc so there extremely small...and well i like to drive my trucks so i have to have real tires on that bitch! lol | |
