Pit Bull Rant

im tired of people saying there bad dogs just cause there powerful. The only thing that makes them bad is the news and the way there raised. Little dogs bit humans alot more the pit bulls and people say awe thats cute because they dont cause any damage. I seen at the show a little dog slip out of its collar and run up and it was jumping trying to get another little dog. God forbid if it was a pit bull it would of been on the news, people screaming, and people talking shit because it was infact a PIT BULL. I just think its bull shit that people that actually raise good blood lines, and socialize the dogs get a bad rap just cause a wanna be thug gets one for protection cause he cant, or is to big of a pussy to fight. If you want protection get a fucking gun, or a german shephard. A dog that is bred for protection. The whole reason bull dogs were bred was to catch cattle so yea there going to have it in them to grab animals. My club and other clubs are trying to breed that out of them, if the dogs are aggressive toward animals we have them fixed so they cant reproduce, and if there aggressive toward humans they are put down. Ive been all over, talked to majors, police, went to meetings as far up as chicago, and out to cali trying to stop BSL. I just get fed up.

i own a pit she is the most loving dog iv ever had she loves other animals hell our cats sleep in the kennel with her she just had a liter of puppies and they r all goin to good homes and a fellow acro prospect

I agree 100% !! I used to raise APBT and rarely ever had a dog with a bad temperement. Still have 1 female that is a great dog, but some people get "all freaked out" when I take her out in public. And I have to stress to 'em that if she were "BAD" I wouldnt have my 5 yr old walking beside her and I wouldn't bring the damn dog out to a public place. ... But they still don't get it.


Speaking of which I rescued 2 pitbull puppies approx 6 months old. I have 1 female brendal/white, that would make a great pet. Free if someone wants her. She's good around kids and other dogs, listens fairly well. I just can't keep her. I have 3 large dogs between me and my g-frnd.

I have two pits and I catch the same crap. My mother-n-law won't allow them around our nieces and nephews at all even though my sister-n-laws piece of shitzu bit a baby in the face.

we have rottweilers & they are the sweetest dogs i know,it's all in how they're raised,any dog can be made agressive it's unfortunate that pits get the worst publicity.

ive always owned pitbulls all my life, best dogs ever.....if it was up to me thats all i would own. but HOA says i cant have one, so instead the wife bought a pomeranian......lol
