past or present ford ranger owners.. i need help

Got an issue.. my ranger is having carrier bearing issues still, which is better on a bodied ranger 2-link or 4-link.

3 link. You can still use your stock gas tank unless your already using a fuel cell. Are you using a pan hard bar or anything with the 2 link.

mine does to i seen on the ranger forum you can take a drive shaft out of explorer and its long enough then you can have a 1 peice drive shaft or i seen on lmc truck that they make a shim kit to go under it so it wont make noise.

Just use a one piece driveshaft. Mine came with one from the factory and I have a 4 link.

I'll mention that you'll have to notch the living bejesus out of your cab tho.

im gonna get one built by a guy down here thats all he does.

Try to shim your carrier bearing mount about 1/2", mainly depending on your pinion angle. Check to see how many degrees it changes thruout the suspension travel. I would start there brother. May be an easier fix. ???
