Fire house fab 4dr jimmy back-half

Hi my names Heath and I'm building a 4dr jimmy for a friend that's involved in your club. I'm just a back yard fab worker in my spare time, so i hope my work is up to par for you guys. here's a few pictures to look at, enjoy.








Just mocking up the link set up, waiting on parts to show up to weld it all up.
And yes i make all brackets and tabs my self.

Looks like a good start you gonna be runnin a panhard or watts on this?

Thanks man, I started early, about 14, did my first bd when I was 17 still dd it to work 36 miles one way a day lol I'm not the best, a lot of trial and err but I'm learning with every build.
I haven't messed one up yet lol, but they keep getting better I feel.
I hope to keep learning, I just do this as a hobby but hope to turn it into my job.
And one day build cover trucks. It's hard to do a high end leve of fab as a lot of guys are now days, with the limited tools I have. But it's all good. Thanks for the positive comments! It's movativating!!

Never ever open a shop! Always do it on the side. Im serious man, you'll be happier in the long run I promise. I regret ever getting into the business side of it. You do good work, and you've got an excellent start!

Haha! We've been in business for going on three years and still don't have a plasma. Just learn your torch better, take your time, and you'll get better with the ole torch! Truth be told, we currently acquired the services of a plasma cam, so we very rarely cut tabs anymore, but I feel like I've put in my time with the torch lol!
