4 door on the floor

Ok well I have a 98 4 dr blazer.
Plans are to do a sfbd
22" rims
6 link and keep the back seat
And thats all Im positive on right know paint will be a shade of maroon with leather interior.

Ok so heres what it looked like when I first got it.



Then started tearing into it that weekend.

And then within the next week I had it completly gutted.



Then seperated the body from the frame.

Ok so I decided to use the frame I was already building for the s-10. Dont have any realy good photos of the frame before I slid it under the blazer but its 3x3.

Well any way heres some pics of the trans crossmember I made for it.





Got the other frame slid into place.

Then clearanced the floor for the fram rails.



Even got the wife out in the garage to cut out for the wheel tub on the drivers side. I have to admit I was a little scared.



Then I raised the trans hump and channeled over the frame rails.

I had some control arms made up by Taylor over at Michigan Metal Works they turned out great.



I then drew up some 4 link brackets I wanted and had them cut locally on a laser jet.





Also had my body mounts brackets cut and bent.

Also forgot to post my 4 link design If thats what you want to call it. Going with a Satchell link.



Heres a pic of the body mounts tacked in.

Here are the bags I chose to go with Airlift dominator 2500's in the front and 2600's in the rear.



Got the brackets taced on the the rear.



Control arms installed.

Then started on the rear frame rails and link bars. Cut a big whole the back floor cause I didnt want to work off a creeper.

nice work, looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Decided to keep stock 20 gal fuel tank behind the axle.



And in this photo you can see that the link bars dont stick up much above the floor so hopefully the rear seat wont need to be to high.

This pretty much bring us to date took off the stands today to clean out the garage and it was great to see the body finally meet the ground.

Pretty soon Im gonna need a bigger garage.
